Talking about it on radio if liverpool everton on filth win europa league so get champions league place does that mean they take 4th place teams spot in champions league ?
Or will we have 5 teams in it next season.

The team that wins the Europa League doesn't get a Champtions League place, unless it's changed recently?

Not sure about that, can't seem to find anything definitive. However, it does appear that the FA cup runners up no longer get a Europa league place if the winners have already qualified for the Champions League, as per Hull last year.

Don't know for sure but it is correct that the Europa Cup winners get a place.... so as this place is pre-allocated I would assume that it wouldn't affect the other places and 5 teams would qualify.

In any contention as to CL places, the spot will be awarded to the most "media friendly" club.
You'll probably find deep within the annexes to the rules that qualified clubs legally have a vote on the matter but are obliged to proxy that vote away to "suitable representative" on the board of UEFA,

What with Kouyate going to a top 4 club, Sakho leaving for Liverpool, Song cancelling his loan and joining Liverpool, Arsenal recalling Jenkinson and all that...
We probably won't make it champions league. Just a gut feeling i have.

I don't understand all this we need to calm down the champions league stuff?? Why can't we have ambition, rant you fed up being in the relegation places? We are up there and currently competing on merit. We have beaten some big teams, so it's not as if we have had it easy or that we have relied on one particular player.
I think we have every reason to believe that with the right signings in Jan we will still be up there at the end of the season.
